Park Made Entirely Out of Clay in China
A special cultural park produced entirely out of clay has not long ago been open to the public, in Tangshan City, China.Featuring rows of houses, busy streets filled with vendors and their carts, high ranking officials and horse-pulled carriages, the park may be a reproduction of Zhang Zerui renowned scroll painting Riverside Scene for the duration of the Qingming Festival.
Chinese Icemen World’s Longest Time Ice Bath
Jin Songhao and Chen Kecai, two of China’s most seasoned icemen, managed to beat the previous world record for the longest ice bath.
Wim Hof, the Dutch known as “Ice-Man” spent New-Year’s Eve covered with ice cubes, and claimed the title of the longest ice bath, with 115 minutes. But the previous record holder, Chen Kecai, wasn’t about to just sit by and watch his title get snatched right from under him. Together with fellow iceman Jin Songhao, they staged their own cold-enduring event, on January 3rd, in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province.

Although bamboo keyboards and mice are still fresh to most computer users, they are nevertheless gaining popularity. Wholly owned by Jiangxi Bamboo Technology Develoopment Co., Ltd., Jiangqiao Bamboo and Wood Industry Co. Ltd., the only bamboo keyboard manufacturer in China, started mass prodution of bamboo keyboards and mice in October 2008, which were mainly exported overseas, said a sales manager of the company. It sells well in the European and American markets, she said. The company has set up franchised stores in Shanghai and Ningbo to sell the products since the beginning of 2009, the manager added.
