Don’t turn your back on this lamp, it may fly across the room and bite your neck. The centerpiece is the skull of a Florida land tortoise, found in phosphate hills in Polk County. The wings are made of brass and copper tubing, soldered together and covered with rawhide. Two 15 watt bulbs illuminate the wings from underneath, casting a nice light for reading, lighting a room, or scaring the dickens out of visitors. Like all our artifacts, this is a signed and dated original work of art. If you want to purchase it please visit this site
